Hanna-Riikka @Uphuin I just cropped the original picture and it worked. I guess it has something to do with the size...

Hanna-Riikka They went up and down on branches. Babies followed wherever the mommy bird went. ㅋㅋㅋ

Few days ago, I was at the lanai, just watching everything.
I saw these 2 birds who kept on flying back and forth from a tree to the ground where there's a lot of dried grass etc..
I noticed that these birds are picking up strands of dried grass and after they fill a mouthful, they will fly back to a nearby tree. It seems like they are building their nest. I went and check it the following day, and they are still doing the same thing.
Isn't it lovely and beautiful to watch how these living things live their life too?
This might sound weird to you but I got teary-eyed watching those birds.
How can some human give no care and appreciation to these living things? It's just a shame that not everyone can see the beauty in them.

Should we run away loves? Away from these things and towards the embrace of our nature?

I hope I can live in a place far from the city. Where there's no noise pollution and really, just nature, my dog and work.

I don't even know why I am saying this right now. I just feel like sharing it.

Couple of nights ago, I decided to start appreciating nature before I go to sleep.
After dinner, I went out of the house and stay for about an hour, staring at the trees, the dogs on the street, and mostly the night sky.
I like looking at the stars, and it really, really, really relaxes me afterwards. For the last 2 nights, it's been uplifting my spirit and I've been having a good night sleep.

Hanna-Riikka No. After this cute phase they'll grow and look ugly and give people bad allergy symptoms.

Here's our bird feeder (and Amanda ).
We tend to feed birds in winter. Their favorite food is sunflower seeds and fat. We give less fat though since magpies have a bad habit take it all when they visit the feeder.
Once you start feeding little birds you should do that trough the winter. Birds get used to it and if there suddenly is anything to eat they might starve. Though, here birds visit every house which happen to have a feeder so they should be fine...

I would've got a nice photo of sunrise today too if I had had my camera with me.
There was a thick fog everywhere and the orange sun glowed trough it mysteriously.
It was quite spooky to drive work.

I believe Europe have fine places where you can be one and alone with nature. Calling out all our European friends. Can you name a place where you think it's most comparable to the type of place I have in mind?
I really wanted to go to places like these... If you are watching Game of Thrones, more likely places like that of in the North but not Beyond the Wall.
Like those I've seen in Th Secret Life of Walter Mitty film. That is in Iceland, I believe?
