Today, 23 year old Korean I am doing language exchange saw a recent photo of me. I have been dying my hair since college because people in my family go white in early 20's. A year ago, I decided to let the hair grow out all white. I like how it looks until some man makes a comment, then I suddenly worry white hair makes me look too old. Really wish I was independent of the opinion of others. I try. But today, I lost that battle. Today, I let a 23 year old man make me feel old because this 50 year old woman has grey hair. Drat. I try to be so EVOLVED. But I am vulnerable on being called old.
