    없니? and 없잖아?
없니? is just a question for example
거기(에) 그거 없니? "Isn't it there?"
you can ask 거기에 그거 있니? also "Is it there?"
없잖아? is a question to double check
거기에 그거 없잖아? (I knew it isn't there or when not sure if it is or not there) Isn't it there?

    This is a bit confused..
Where are you from? in Korean
어디에서 왔어요? This can be a question for asking Where are you from or Where did you come from?
I think if you want to ask the nationality of someone, this would be better way
    어느 나라 사람이에요?
    Answers :
미국에서 왔어요 : If you came from US for real to Korea, this can be an answer for this question. If not, it's a bit wired
미국사람이에요 : This is always a good answer.

Should, must, have to + do
We have only 1 word for those in Korean.
해야 하다 = should do,must do, have to do
but we can use adverb to emphasize it as must, have to ..
    for example
    1. present
    해야 하다/한다 = should do
해야만 하다/한다 = have to do, must do
꼭 해야 하다/한다 = have to do, must do
꼭 해야만 하다/한다 = have to do, must do
    2. past
해야 했다 = should have done.
    .
    ex:
    1. when verb ended as consonant + 다 as 먹다(머+ㄱ+다) -> 먹+어야
저녁을 먹어야 해 : I should eat dinner
저녁을 먹었어야 했어 : I should have eaten dinner
    2. when verb ended as vowel + 다 as 가다(가+다) -> 가+야
집에 가야 해 : I should go home

Ryan just same... they are different uses with 해야 하다 to emphasize

    내가 Vs 나
When I do/ask something '내가' is a good choice to use
ex: 내가 그거 할 게(I will do it), 내가 먹었어(I ate), 내가 그랬어(I did it)
내가 먹어도 돼?(Can I eat it?)
When I tell my thought/will... '나' is a good choice to use
ex: 나는 빠질게(I'm out), 나라면 그렇게 할 거야(If I were you, I will do it.)
also when I ask something, I can use '나'
    ex: 나 어떻게 보여?-> 나 어때?(how do I look?)

We had few different levels of politeness in Korean. (still have but rarely use them nowadays)
Especially when we greet in the morning, eat meal with parents include grandparents.
    ex )
    1. normal : 엄마, 아침 먹었어?(usually)
    2. casual : 엄마, 아침 먹었어요? when kids are grew up and became old man/woman
    3. polite level 1 : 엄마, 아침 드셨어요? / 엄마, 식사 하셨어요?
    4. polite leve 2 : 어머님 진지 잡수셨어요? (just few old men/women use this kind of level nowadays)

    주다 means 'give' as usual.
Btw we use verb+주다 when we ask something to do.
For example, 가르쳐 주다 is maded up of 가르치다(verb) + 주다(verb)
it says 가르침을 주다 so it is someone gives to someone a knowledge. or just teach someone
ex: 가르쳐 주다(teach someone), 도와주다(help someone)...

Emmli So it can be used with anything as long as someone would be giving you something? Eg. Food , help

    ~을를 And 은/는/이/가
A verb or verb B comes after 은/는/이/가
Ex) 남자가 간다 / 남자가 있다 / 여자가 없다
    A verb comes after 을/를
Ex) 밥을 먹는다 / 영화를 본다 / 영화를 있다(x)
I recommend to omit 을/를/은/는/이/가 if you are not sure

    선택하다 Vs 고르다
선택하다 & 고르다 have same meaning as pick, choose but sometimes they have little differences.
선택하다 : we use 선택하다 for choosing some things and when make a decision between/among decisions.
고르다 : we use 고르다 for when you pick things from 2 more things.
