Qing53 @Alaa yeah you just too smart
@Sun sis Alaa explained it all very well ^^ you should see me asking Aisha to talk in English or formal Arabic cause I can't understand what she said different dialect sometimes are more like different languages
The funny thing is that there's a lot of similar words in Spanish and Portuguese, but there are some that we write almost the same way but it has the totally opposite meaning Like: Exquisito - (in Spanish), it means something yummy/tasty.. Esquisito - (in Portuguese), it means something strange/weird... We have to be careful when use them
Someone said Korean was a very difficult language. He'd lived in Korea for 2 years and he said he still wasn't fluent. He said Chinese and Thai were very easy. But apparently, he speaks no Chinese and very very basic Thai even though he has lived in Thailand for a year. Thank you! kkkk
As I study other languages and somehow improves even the tiniest bit in it, I feel like at the same time, my English skills degrades. And I'm not even sure if that sentence is grammatically correct.
I thought we English were bad for having many words mean one thing and one word mean many things... Then I started learning Korean. It makes my other languages feel so easy in comparison.
