바꾸다 and 환전하다 both mean convert, but what's the difference? Or are they interchangeable?

Could you guys give me some simple sentences in English so I can practice making sentences in Korean? I understand how to make sentences, but actually doing it is still very hard so I want to practice a lot

꺾다 (kkeok-da) to break
끾어요 (kkeok-eo-yo) I break/ you break/ they break etc.
끾었어요 (kkeok-eo-sseo-yo) I broke/ you broke/ they broke etc
안 꺾어요 (an kkeok-eo-yo) I don't break/ you don't break/ they don't break
안 꺾었어요 (an kkeok-eo-sseo-you) I didn't break/ you didn't break/ they didn't break
Are these correct?

당분간 내 한국어 공부가 천천히 진행될 것 같다. 이번 장은 고급반이라고 하는데 온라인 수업은 학교 수업보다 훨씬 덜 어려워 보인다. 나는 고급 학습자가 아닌 게 분명하다. 중급 학습자인지 잘 모르겠다. 고급 문법을 벌써 알지도 모르지만 연습을 많이 못 하고 내 어휘력이 아직도 너무 빈약해서 내가 많이 부족하다.
분석한 이야기는 신문 기사나 뉴스 기사라서 존댓말로 쓰여 있다. 그래서 모든 단어 안 외우면 괜찮은 것 같다. 일상적인 단어로 설명해서 기사 내용보다 강사의 대화는 중요한 것 같다.
영어번역 없어서 팟캐스트를 듣기 전에 기록을 읽고 사전에서 모르는 단어를 찾아야 된다. 게다가 강사들이 자연스러운 속도로 이야기하는데 대화를 잘 알아듣지 못 한다. 나한테 아직 너무 빨라서 먼저 모르는 단어 외워야 된다. 부족한 듣기 실력이 원래 내 단점이었다. 이 방면에서 약하다.

아이고~ 최근에 공부하기 시작한 새로운 한국어 레슨은 너무 어려운 것 같다. 강사가 더이상 번역하지 않고 한국어로만 설명한다. 다행히 레슨 노트에 강사의 대화가 기록되어 있는데 이해하는 데 시간이 오래 걸린 것 같다. 그래도 복습할수록 쉬워지기 마련이다…
