Korean Digital Academy is having open registration for their online Korean class. I highly recommend it. If you can commit 2 hours a week, then it will help you learn to speak Korean. An English speaker made the video lectures and a native Korean does the speaking practice. Very small class size (3 people for my class). Great for building confidence.

3 Books: 46 Korean language lessons, additional review exercises, extensive glossaries and grammar summaries—plus, a bonus notebook for extra practice space.
9 Audio CDs: Korean Vocabulary, dialogues, audio exercises, and more—learn with the book or on the go.
FREE Online Learning from our Language Lab: Flashcards, games, and interactive quizzes for each lesson.
For $50, this is a LOT of material, and from what I have read and heard so far, it is excellent quality. Beside my Read & Speak Korean I bought for $15, this is probably the best value of learning materials I have purchased. Big thumbs up recommendation.
It includes a book on writing Hangul with work pages for practicing writing. Spans from Beginner thru to Advanced.

@Ryan. What is the term for 'counting unit' as a part of speech? For example,
noun 명사 verb 동사 adjective 형용사 adverb 부사 pronoun 대명사 preposition 전치사 conjunction 접속어 determiner 관형사 interjection 감탄사 number 수사 counting unit particle 조사
I think I have all the rest of them, but I can't seem to find what Koreans call counting units (ex: 시, 병, 잔, 번, 권, 대, 마리)

Hanna-Riikka Yes, Google translate isn't the most reliable source to use. I use it sometimes but I'm very careful with it.

This book focuses on simple conversations that a new visitor to Korea might encounter. Aimed at the person self-studying with MP3 of all conversations.
I wish I had bought the first book too, but at $34 USD (imported from Korea price) my budget was strained to buy just one.
Right now, it is still too difficult for me. Yet it is exactly the kind of stuff I need to start conversing with my Korean friends. I am using it as a supplement to my online class to practice small talk.
