I do want to go back to China someday, even if it's to travel instead of for an internship/work. If I do go for work I'll be extra extra careful, apply for an actual job and make sure I get a legal work visa. 
China will always be there, waiting for your visit again. Being extta careful with things like that these days, is truly important. You're experience sounds frightening when I look back at it now, but the greatest part is that you're out of that situation now and you're safe always. Learning from it, for sure, will be something at the back of your head for future travels now!~
