Went to the Clark Art Museum. I sat for half an hour admiring this statue. It was located in an atrium, with chairs, that overlooked a reflection pool outside and the lovely Berkshire mountains.
These two young people meet and fall in love. They are both innocent, naive, tentative. He leans in to whisper something in her ear. You can almost imagine him stroking her skin. Amazing how a sculptor can make something out of stone that seems so alive.
I like looking deeply at a single piece of art. That too is relaxing for me.
