    Since our names aren't Japanese use katakana to write it. It's used for loaned words and non-Japanese names.

    Actually I talked to me Japanese today when I called to reserve a table in an Okinawa restaurant. I didnt expect a Japanese to pick up the phone. His Thai was awesome but when he asked for my last name, that was when he had to swap with a Thai staff. Cos I assured him that my last name is VERY long!
