    I can not remember a winter when so many Americans were quite so annoyed with the seemingly never ending winter. Today, 45 miles of highway in Kentucky was shut down because of a tractor trailer accident during a snow storm. miles of cars stuck on the highway. temperatures 25 degrees. Been stuck there for 14 hours now. Snow has fallen, burying the cars. All that can be done now is emergency rescue workers come to get people and bring them to shelters. Then it will take days to clear the road and tow the cars.
    Phew. it is why every winter you should keep blankets, water, and food in your car and never drive on less than half a tank of gas.

    winter blues logic: my car won't start. It is the 2nd time this has happened this winter. I think a lose connection in my interior light is causing it to be on all the time. It is a long drive to the nearest Toyota repair place. So I will need to set up an appointment and then call for a battery jump and drive up there. So winter logic - instead of doing all of these things, I just went back to bed and hoped that I would have more energy to deal with it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, nope no more energy, another snow storm has covered the car, so I go back to bed again.
    *sigh* winter end soon please

    Julia Toyota Prius is designed that if the battery drains, the doors do not open, and the battery is in the trunk under the spare tire. I feel so bad for the repair guy who has to jump the car. I have to get over that to make the call for a jump. Plus no point to do until I have an appointment to get that loose wire that is draining the battery. Pfft. My fault. I am mad at myself. I knew occasionally the light would flicker on while I was driving. I should have dealt with the problem before. I feel so foolish to have let the battery go dead again. I do not know if a second jump will be covered by my auto plan. So I am just stuck in late-winter-blues kind of funk. Just taking care of it is the right thing, but will take so much energy.
