Since our country decided that teaching Filipino (Philippines' national language) is no longer a mandatory course in College, let me share two interesting words that are often interchanged even by the natives (I am guilty of this, lol).
I introduce to you, 'Ng' and 'Nang'.
These two words are homophones of each other (both pronounced as 'nang'), but are used very differently.

'Ng' is used to conjunct a verb, and is like the 'of' in English.
One way to know if this is the right to use is if your sentence answera what and where.
Ex.
Umakyat ako ng bundok. (I climbed a mountain.)

On the other hand, 'Nang' is used to describe a verb, and is also used if the sentence answers the question 'when'. It can also be translated as 'so that' in English (depends on how you use it in a sentence).
Ex.
Tumawa s'ya nang malakas. (She laughed out loud).
Tanghali na ako nang umuwi. (I went home in the afternoon).
Ngumiti ka na nang sumaya s'ya. (Smile already so that she'll be happy).
