I think Guus has some abandonment issues. My mom just went to the store and he completely freaked out and started crying a bunch

Guus is doing much better today. Yesterday he was chasing the cats a lot but he's barely doing that today and he listens very well. The older cats are defending themselves when he bothers them and he seems to get the message.

Emotions are running high here. Guus is very stressed because everything is new and weird and the cats are not very fond of him because he's so excitable. And my brother said he thinks it's too soon after the death of our previous dog and it kinda annoys me because first he was fine with it and it's also a little late now to say that I'm sure everything will be fine but right now things are very stressful

Today at the shelter I met Lola. She was found at the bottom of a flat building and she was extremely malnourished and weak to the point they thought she wouldn't make it. Now she can walk again and she's actually pretty chubby and she could even run a bit today. She's such a lovely little baby and I'm so glad she's safe and getting healthy now
