여러분 안녕하세요! 오랜만입니다. 어떻게 지내셨어요? I haven't seen you lovely folks in a while. I have been diligently practicing my Korean. I have befriended many Korean folks and I am happy about this. I have learned so much in such a short period of time. Sometimes, when communicating the other person laughs at me, But that is ok. I am trying. Lol. Even though the laughter exists, I get the correction that I need. Besides, I sound like a child when speaking because I have to think so much.

Good morning, people!
hanks to italki and facebook i have 13 scheduled language exchange/practice. Now I can get some practice in speaking. Writing and sentence structure is awesome, but I need communication most. My goal is to be conversational. A baby learns words, sentence structure through communication. I am a baby as far as learning the Korean language and I need someone to talk to. If you never offered a baby communication he would never grasp speech.
I am still learning grammar, spelling, structure, but i will be focused on conversation.
Done rambling. Ha. Just wanted to share.

It is me, yet again! ;) Here is another song that I absolutely love and learned a good bit of vocabulary from. I was online one night looking for replays of my favorite singers on the American show, The Voice. I noticed on the side bar that the video suggestions were linked to 'other' replays that I did not see. I clicked on one of the links and this is what popped up... I have been hooked on watching The Voice of Korea ever since! I wonder if it still airs in Korea?

When I first started learning Korean (and never stuck with it... LOL) this is the first song I learned. I love the song. After researching the meaning of the song... I loved it even more! I really enjoy the folk music. My son says, "It is because you are old, mom." He says this in a matter-of-fact kind of way. Ha. I may be an 아줌마... what can I say. LOL. I do love Kpop too. Doesn't that account for anything? What was the first song you heard when you became interested in the Korean language?

좋은 아침! 커피 주세요! Today I am focused on writing my letter to my mother. I hope she will be pleasantly surprised. Have some business things to clear up, school stuff with my son, work... suffice it to say that today will be quite long. What about you? What do you have planned?
