We went to a building which I'm assuming is a real estate agent, then we were taken to see some apartments which were almost finished being built, then we went back to the real estate agent and they talked for a while. I was brought back to the apartment after that. I'm not sure why I had to go with. ᄏᄏᄏ Maybe they weren't ready for the source of entertainment to leave.
The principal and I left the others and I thought we were on the way back to the apartment I'm staying at. She stopped very briefly when we reached the entrance to the area the apartment is in, pointed in that direction, and indicated for me to get back on the scooter. We went to a bus stop and waited there for a few minutes. When the second or third bus arrived, the people we'd left behind got off!
Unfortunately, on the way back the people I was with required some photo sessions. I've been photographed plenty of times, and one of the teacher's assistants even took a short video of me teaching , but it's worse when I have to actually pose and watch the photos being taken.
연주 @louise Iike the being stared at by cute guys~ I have seen a youtube video and they talk about how foreigners are got stared at too. In the city, it is iust an acknowledge glance but the staring becomes more intense in smaller cities
As expected, I was stared at, talked about and laughed at a lot. I'm used to it, but I feel a bit like some kind of circus act. Sometimes being a foreigner who can't really speak Mandarin seems to make me an instant source of entertainment. When I'm laughed at I often laugh too, but sometimes I feel like I'm being mocked. I felt a bit like I was being mocked today, but the laughter was accompanied with plenty of friendliness. One of the people I met there even seemed to joke about wanting to adopt me.ᄏᄏᄏ
Something I wasn't ready for was riding on the back of a scooter. If I'd known, I would've worn full black stockings instead of knee-highs. I hope my skirt wasn't quite as inappropriate as it felt.
I went to the wedding. I was expecting the person who took me (the principal of the school I'm at, who is friends with the bride's mom) to arrive at 10 : 30, but she arrived at 8 : 50 instead! Thankfully, I was ready enough. Being an expat in China requires being ready for anything and adapting quickly when situations suddenly change.
Got invited to attend a wedding in Korea ... and asked if I want an introduction to the man's brother who never married. Haha. So many warm hearted Koreans I have met.

Julia Sometimes people flatter, and it feels fake. Sometimes people flatter, and you know it is exaggeration but it still makes you feel good. I needed a dose of self confidence about speaking Korean, so I appreciated being told today that I have a good accent for a foreigner.
Blossom @marianneja My dad is always like. ''Can you stop looking at wedding dresses?!'' Because he is scared that I'm going to get married and leave him. lol i'm only 18!!! But I do want to get married soon though It really is a pretty wedding you guys!!
Have you seen this clip? It's been shared a lot. This filipino guy planned to hold a wedding on 8 July, his 30th b-day. But he got really sick, so he asked his family to move up the wedding date and held it at the hospital. 10 hours after his wedding, he passed away. Too sad a clip but I'd like to share to remind us all to always treasure EVERY moment with our loved ones
